Ground motion data · Sentinel-1 · APSIS™

Millimetre ground motion for every pixel.
Delivered as data, not reports.

You bring the domain model. We supply the ground truth from orbit. APSIS™ InSAR returns millimetre-scale velocity and displacement for every pixel of terrain — including the vegetated and rural ground conventional methods leave blank — from open Sentinel-1 data.

100% terrain coverage ~1 mm/yr validated accuracy 24 hours from order to survey 10 years of history
Why APSIS™

Conventional InSAR measures cities. APSIS measures the country in between.

Persistent-scatterer and standard SBAS methods need radar-stable targets — buildings, rock, steel. APSIS™ (Advanced Pixel System using Intermittent SBAS), developed at the University of Nottingham, recovers motion from intermittently coherent ground, so every pixel of a scene carries a measurement.

From orbit to raster

From Sentinel-1 pass to delivered raster.

  1. 01

    Acquire

Open Sentinel-1 radar over your area of interest, no tasking, no site visits.

  2. 02

    Process

APSIS™ recovers displacement from intermittently coherent ground across the full scene.

  3. 03

    Resolve

Line-of-sight motion from ascending and descending passes becomes vertical and east–west components.

  4. 04

    Deliver

Velocity rasters, displacement time series, change signals and quality layers — GeoTIFF · COG · STAC — by API or bulk licence.

Full coverage by design

Measures where
others go blind.

Where radar-stable targets vanish — fields, forests, peat — classic methods return nothing. APSIS™ exploits intermittent coherence, so the measurement is a dense, continuous field over terrain no other method can monitor from space.

  • Full-coverage rasters over urban and rural ground alike
  • Vertical and east–west motion, resolved separately
  • Validated at 1.1–1.5 mm/yr against ground survey
  • Every pixel carries a quality layer
